Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will contain microtransactions, but according to Ubisoft, they will not hold the game content hostage.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, like its predecessor, will have microtransactions. Ubisoft has confirmed that they will be used to accelerate progress and save time in the game.

“Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will include paid options to save time and accelerate progress,” said Francois Pelland, Director of Development at IGN.

“The Assassin’s Creed Syndicate model is quite similar to Black Flag, allowing players who do not have the time to fully explore our gaming world to still be able to eventually acquire the most powerful gears in the game as well as other articles.

“Rest assured, all syndicate content is available without paying anything extra and the game has been balanced such that microtransactions are 100% optional. ” Syndicate is far from being the only AAA game to openly have this type of monetization (The Phantom Pain of Konami, PES 2016 as well as Halo 5: Guardians …)

I'm a 22 year old graduate of Ohio State majoring in Meteorology. Meteorology is better than chemistry. Way better. Also, I like to spend time with my friends, and play games, watch movies, take road trips, and eat out and spend lots of money! I hope to be a TV weatherman one day! I play a mean Super Mario Bros, and Mario games are my favorite. I also have pigments, according to Dan Cochran.
